IN THE MOST unlikely feud you’re likely to read about today, comedian Frankie Boyle and UKIP leader Nigel Farage appear to be locked in a verbal battle over on Twitter.
It all kicked off when Farage tweeted a link to an article about the Facebook post penned by comedian Andrew Lawrence over the weekend.
In his post, Lawrence criticised fellow comedians for making “cheap and easy” gags about UKIP and described the BBC as having “militant liberal politics”.
Farage in turn praised Lawrence for his honesty.
This didn’t too well with Frankie Boyle, who responded with this pithy burn. (Warning: NSFW language below.)
Not one to leave things lie, Farage got another decent dig in at Boyle’s expense.
OH SNAP.
Boyle was undeterred, however, and shut Farage down in a manner only he could.
We await Farage’s response.
